EVENT (11/18): FIRST ANNIVERSARY PEP RALLY FOR THE TREVOR PROJECT'S SAN DIEGO AMBASSADORS COUNCIL
(SAN DIEGO, CALIF.) – The San Diego Ambassadors of The Trevor Project are celebrating a breakout freshman year and building momentum for a bigger and better second year of saving young lives by hosting the First Anniversary Pep Rally on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 7:00 pm. This high-energy, school-spirit event will be hosted at Eden, (1202 University Ave.), San Diego's newest club and restaurant. Tickets are $42, and guestsare encouraged to show their spirit by donning orange and white, the colors of The Trevor Project.
With so many recently reported suicide deaths, supporting the work of The Trevor Project to prevent suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth has become even more important. For the past year, local volunteers in San Diego have been Ambassadors of The Trevor Project's mission and have worked to raise awareness of LGBTQ youth suicide risks and warning signs. This First Anniversary Pep Rally is an event to cheer for the work accomplished, and the positive impact that is still to be made in the San Diego community.
