Important Meeting this Monday...

Hi Everybody -

Just a reminder that we will be having our last meeting at our "new" location (of 5 months)......... Until the loss of  our meeting room at the San Diego Nat'l Bank in RB, we had 3 years of very successful and meaningful gatherings.  Our new location, and meeting day at the Ciao Bella Salon, has not met with the same enthusiasm. I think much of this is the location and even more so, the evening of the week. I know that some of you have been missing, due to prior commitments on Monday evenings......... We have been trying ever so hard to find a new "home" for us, but with the closing of many banks and offices, and the lack of privacy in "club meeting rooms", it has been very difficult. It was decided in October, that although we did have some new guests, and that although "we were there for them and made a difference", we were missing the camaraderie and companionship of our greater PFLAG "family".

We will be having our  meeting in the Ciao Bella Hair Salon building this coming Monday evening, because we received phone calls from 3 new families and promised them that we would be there. We truly appreciate the owners of Ciao Bella, for allowing us the use of their location. They have been very kind.  It will be our final meeting until we can find another "home".  The address is: 12160 Alta Carmel Court, in RB (not far from the RBHS). The shopping center is across the street from Curves and Grazziano's Pizzeria. For excellent directions (!), go to www.ciaobellainc.com for a map, or call us at (858) 673-4560/(858) 663-8666 -cell phone.  

Ernie says..: The easiest way to get to Ciao Bella at 12160 Alta Carmel Court is:                                                                                                                                                             &nb sp;                                                                                   From I-15, take Camino del Norte south, (or from Poway, take Twin Peaks north, which becomes Camino del Norte)  to Paseo Lucido  (east).                                                                                                                                   Follow Paseo Lucido one block and turn left  onto Avenido Venusto. Then, immediately, turn left into Alta Carmel Court and right into the parking lot.                                                                                                                      Ciao Bella is the ONLY building on your right, number #12160.
