PFLAG San Diego needs help from the LGBT community and allies, we have opportunities for people to help in a worthy cause! We are not involved in this organization to save the whales, or a park or trees, we are all involved in this wonderful organization to save our children's LIVES! from abuse, bullying, hate crimes. We need to talk to as many people out there as we can to educate them so that the fear they have will be filled with information and they will accept our wonderful children, friends,aunts, uncles,fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers....etc. and understand to live together without fear of all the lies that some leaders in churches have instilled into their flocks.
We have opportunities for you to come to our meetings and join PFLAG and be a part of our speakers bureau. We speak at Universities, Colleges, Churches, Schools, Professional conferences and anywhere we are invited to. We also try to have a presence in the communities we live in and have to pay for fees to be in parades, etc. So we need your memberships and your presence as part of these speaking engagements.
